Overview:
MIT International Development Club (IDC) is a non-profit, student-run organization at the premiere technical university in the world. The MIT International Development Club (IDC) serves as a forum for which students interested in international development (ID) issues and projects may collaborate and exchange ideas for the promotion of ID and the advancement of ID projects. IDC aims to promote collaboration by acting as a platform by which students may recruit other like-minded individuals for ID projects, and draw upon the experience of others in overcoming their project obstacles. The club also aims to promote the general awareness of ID through events and presentations that not only inform the MIT community of present issues, but also presents them with the opportunity to engage in work that directly impacts them.
