Apeksha Dave is a Biology and Sloan Management Science double major at MIT. She joined International Development Club (IDC) as the new Director of Strategy in 2010 after spending the summer doing community work in rural India. The poverty and suffering she saw convinced her of the need for a cohesive and continuing approach to international development. She hopes that through IDC’s collaborative work between nonprofits and driven, innovative students at MIT, she will be able to drive a more sustainable impact in international development. |
Sneha Kannan is the Director of Internal Operations for IDC. She organizes club meetings and events, and takes care of all the administrative and financial aspects of IDC. She also works closely with the Director of External Operations to further IDC’s image and success. Sneha is pursuing a major in Biological Engineering and a minor in Management at MIT. She hopes to become a doctor and practice in impoverished nations to further the causes promoted by IDC. |
Hosea Siu is an Aero/Astro Engineering major from Queens, New York. He became interested in development work after spending a portion of his high school years working with a New York lab on the problem of groundwater supply and sanitation. As Director of External Relations, Hosea works to promote IDC beyond MIT, and form partnerships with outside organizations to enhance IDC’s capabilities. |
Esha Atolia is a Biological Engineering Major. She has always had a passion for positively impacting the world around her through service through involvement in different service projects in Florida and India. As the Director of Marketing, she promotes IDC with in the MIT community making sure people are aware of IDC’s activities. She hopes to become a medical researcher and further impact the world that she lives in. |
